A premium estate that does almost everything well without shouting about it. Ride quality is excellent, especially with air suspension, and refinement is impressive with wind and road noise well suppressed. Steering lacks feel and it understeers when pressed, but it's a superb grand tourer with a strong safety suite. Best enjoyed at a relaxed pace.

A sanctuary on wheels, with an airy interior and comfortable ride thanks to adaptive dampers. The B6 mild-hybrid provides brisk acceleration, though the four-cylinder sounds gruff under load. The Google-based infotainment is considered the best in the business for native apps. Not the sharpest or most practical wagon, but strongly recommended for comfort and Swedish charm.
